My younger sister used to do Spanish classes at a community centre in Campsie. When class would finish, a Latin Folkloric Dance group would come in. They would pack the chairs and tables away and use the space to rehearse. One day as my mother was leaving with my young sister, one of the members from the folkloric group asked if my sister would like to learn. My sister wasn't interested, my Mother however, thought I might like to have a look. I came one day & being 17 at the time, had one look at the ladies that danced in the group and thought, 'Yes'. |

That was my first taste trained Salsa and Latin Dance. I performed with the group around Sydney for just over a year at community events, festivals and special events around Sydney such as the Darling Harbour Annual Bacardi Festivals. |

I took a break for almost 5 years to persue my studies before being asked to perform and teach for a Salsa schoo based in the west. I was scouted from word of mouth and from being on the dance floor in salsa social scene. |

I had my first taste of performing at an international Salsa congress in Malaysia 08 and look forward to reaching greater heights in the near future. I am truly grateful to be able to share my experience, passion and knowledge with my peers and our students at Latin Motion. |

I've now been at Latin Motion for just over 2 years and feel extremely privileged not only to be performing and learning amongst Australia and the world's best salseros but to share their friendship and support is truly wonderful. |
