Clements salsa career began when he saw his friends doing it 15 years ago. He tried it and became addicted to it. He started learning at Latin Motion Dance Academy in the early 90s and has never left since. He has performed for Latin Motion at various Sydney events as well as at the Los Angeles West Coast Salsa Congress. In 2004 he was invited to be a member of the Latin Motion teaching team, and took extensive teacher-training from Oliver Pineda & Natalie Reis, the founders of Latin Motion Dance Academy. |

His love for salsa has prompted him to other ventures outside of teaching. In 2006, with his then fiancé and fellow Latin Motion instructor, Jenny Qin, he co-founded Mambo Jumbo, a promotional salsa company. Their weekly salsa night is currently one of the most successful salsa nights in Sydney (as seen on Dancing with the Stars). His co-produced quarterly event, the Palladium is the ultimate in an evening of salsa indulgence where a 15 piece band, 4 DJs and numerous performances are the norm. He is currently a partner and director of the Australian Salsa Classic, the biggest national level competition in Australia. |

With Jenny, Clement has also developed JQ Dance, a range of dancewear that is very quickly becoming well known after their shoes were worn by dancers from the Dancing with the Stars and Latin Dance Alive TV programs. |

Clement is responsible for running Latin Motion’s Balmain studio and is one of Latin Motions longest and most loyal staff member to date. |
