Star Kids Dance Academy

What better way to get your child off on the right foot than with our Star Kids Program for 6 - 16 year olds. Enjoyed by both boys and girls our program is lots of fun, combining elements of the performing arts including Salsa, Hip Hop and Jazz to improve children's gross motor skills. 

The Star Dance Academy difference is that we also include fun games that aim to improve children's self confidence & communication skills.

• Star Dance Academy Program: is an incredible, fun, exciting, innovative way to keep your kids moving and grooving. We provide a range of choreography, fun filled dance games and team building activities to cover every age group and ability. Star Dance Academy and its highly trained and motivated staff aim to provide your school, community group and students with an action packed dance floor adventure. 

   

• Salsa: One of the world most recognised styles of Latin Dance, taught by our professional STAR instructors at the School of the 5 Time World Salsa Champions.

• Hip Hop: Kids Hip Hop dance is an excellent way for children to have fun while\ staying in shape. Learning great Hip Hop dance moves on in class can make exercise exciting while improving kids confidence. These Hip Hop classes break down the moves kids love, making it easier for them to Hip Hop their way to fitness. 

• The Language of Dance: Many dance schools focus on just one style: Star Dance Academy and their dedicated Instructors teach the world of dance: Hip Hop, Salsa, Break Dance, Samba, Merengue, Jazz, Contemporary, Showtime, Disco, Techno, Popping & Locking, Mime, Rock’n’Roll, Jive, Swing, Line Dancing and more. Star Dance prides itself on inviting experts in their dance fields to share their knowledge on their chosen dance genre.

• Performance: Research from the Australia Council for the Arts shows that creative performance helps foster confidence, imagination and social and personal development. Star performances cater to boys and girls of all ages and is a wonderful introduction to the magical world of performance. All students perform on stage each semester at various events including our Schools monthly student social "Latin Paradise" to a selection of song and dance items. Performances will put your child in the spotlight..
