"The Academy" Our Talent Development & Instructor Training Academy.
If you have ever wanted to teach or to represent Australia now is your chance. In 2012 Latin Motion will offer 12 Professional scholarships worth over a total of $68,000 as part of Latin Motion's investment into Australia's Latin Industry & Australian Talent.
12 of Australia's best will be selected to travel and represent Latin Motion & Australia at National and International competitions and exhibitions. This of course includes the World Salsa Championships.
Your training*, travel, airfares and expenses will be paid for you.
This is your opportunity to develop your dancing, travel, and have a great time at Latin Motion.
The Academy is more than just performing. Members of the Academy will train all year round to bring the highest quality standard of teaching methods within our school & when they represent us all over the world.
The Scholarship:
Scholarship Training at a glance:
- Ballet, Jazz & Ballroom Training 3 days a week, 3hrs per session. Broken up into 90min of tuition and 90min of coaching and supervised practice.
- Groomed, trained & mentored for performance/competition in styles such as Salsa, Bachata & Zouk directly from Oliver Pineda and Luda Kroitor, and guest speciality professionals.
- $1200 in Flights and Accommodation will be paid for Latin Motion representative trips throughout the year for every scholar.
- Scholarships will be trained by Oliver Pineda and Luda Kroitor directly for several choreography projects throughout the year.
- Scholarships will be given the opportunity to teach one evening a week at one of our 4 venues.
- Scholarships will be given the opportunity to train, mentor & choreograph for your very own "Student Representative Team"
The 12 Scholarships are all together worth a total of $68,000
Trainee Instructor Program:
Trainee instructors have always been an integral part of Latin Motion Dance Academy, they are made up of students and dancers who would like to train to be an instructor for Latin Motion and want all the great perks that come with it!
Trainee instructors at a glance:
- Trainee instructors are entitled to a fortnightly free 30min privates in syllabus dance tuition with Oliver Pineda
- Trainee instructors are provided with dance training in all syllabus styles such as Salsa, Bachata, Zouk, On2 & speciality weekly dance training in Ballet, Ballroom, Jazz & Social Dancing Technique
- Be part of an instructor only performance and competition team!

How To Apply:
Trainee instructors will be required to audition alongside people auditioning for Scholarship, who knows you may even end up getting into a scholarship!
If for any reason you do not wish to be considered for a scholarship, but would like to be considered as a trainee instructor, you will be given the opportunity to let us know on the audition day.
A minimum of Level 2 Salsa knowledge is desirable.

conditions do apply:
* all academy training being Ballet, Jazz & Ballroom, Direct Grooming, Mentoring, Salsa, Bachata, Zouk & Latin Dance Training from Oliver Pineda & Luda Kroitor PLUS $1200 in flights will all be paid by Latin Motion Dance Academy
** some individuals on a scholarship, deemed "students" and in need of continued public classes, will be required to remain on a membership for continued dance development external to the academy training.
*** some individuals on a scholarship deemed "professionals" will be exempt from taking public classes and therefore exempt of "student fees"
**** for the purpose of the training program & continued dance develpotment trainee instructors will be required to remain on a membership for continued dance development external to the academy' "trainee: instructor & dance training".
